Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Service Technician to repair, deliver, and pick up durable medical equipment in the community. You will educate patients and caregivers on using the equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety during home visits.

The role emphasizes excellent communication and strong problem solving while maintaining a high level of service. Eligible candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean DMV record, and at least 1 year in healthcare

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• 1 year healthcare or customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Repair, deliver, and pick up durable medical equipment (DME) in the community.
• Promote goodwill with patients and caregivers in the home.
• Instruct patients/caregivers on equipment use; troubleshoot; assess safety; answer questions.
