AdvaCare Systems in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Service Technician to deliver, install, and troubleshoot Durable Medical Equipment (DME) while ensuring safety and quality. You will operate a company-owned 16’ Box Truck and train patients and caregivers on equipment use with a friendly, professional approach.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, 2+ years in delivery/healthcare, ability to lift 50 pounds, DOT card, and a clean driving record; overtime and on-call

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license for 5 years.
• 2+ years of delivery and/or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous work.
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Card required or obtainable.
• Clean driving record and pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Operate a company-owned 16’ Box Truck safely.
• Instruct patients, family members, and caregivers on equipment functions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Perform minor repair and equipment troubleshooting while in the field.
• Thorough and accurate completion of all orders on a proprietary web-based inventory management system.
