Job summary

AdvaCare Systems in Rockford, IL seeks a Service Technician to deliver, install and troubleshoot Durable Medical Equipment. A company 16’ Box Truck will be used; you’ll train patients and caregivers on equipment and perform basic field repairs. Orders are logged in a web-based inventory system.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 21+ with 5+ years driving, clean record, DOT card, and a pre-employment drug screen. Overtime and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of Delivery and/or Healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 5 years of driving.
• Clean driving record and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Card required or able to obtain.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and perform strenuous work.
• Basic phone/computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Operate a company 16’ Box Truck safely and efficiently.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on equipment use.
• Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting in the field.
• Complete orders accurately in the proprietary web-based inventory system.
