Accendra Health delivers durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home, ensuring safe setup and use. The Delivery Technician role requires loading, delivering, and teaching patients how to operate respiratory and home equipment, while maintaining accurate delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records.

The position emphasizes on-time, compliant service with state licensure considerations and strong attention to safety, reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment issues.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related DOT and FDA standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment to patients' homes and pick up items as needed.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory and equipment supplied.
• Load/unload equipment; maintain delivery vehicle and logs daily.
• Complete paperwork and distribute forms to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to on-call delivery requests and report any safety concerns.
