Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home. This role supports patients across our national network, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries of equipment and supplies.

You will load/unload equipment, instruct patients on basic usage, complete daily delivery logs, and coordinate with the care team to maintain up-to-date patient profiles. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• May instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and other devices.
• Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call basis.
• Completes daily delivery logs and related paperwork; maintains patient profiles.
• Notifies supervisor if home conditions raise safety concerns.
• May clean and assist with repair of equipment.
• Performs routine vehicle maintenance and reports malfunctions.
• Performs other duties as required.
