Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Delivery Technician to provide in-home delivery of durable medical equipment to Apria patients, ensuring proper setup and documentation.

You will load/unload equipment, may instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy devices, and complete delivery logs; a valid driver's license and DOT/FDA compliance are required for the role.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
• At least one year related experience.
• Minimum of three years driving history.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license for the vehicle operated.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., FDA and accrediting body standards.
• English language skills (reading, writing, verbal).

Responsibilities

• Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy and other equipment as approved.
• Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls during regular hours and on-call.
• Completes daily delivery logs, pickup/delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Maintains patient profile supply components and distributes paperwork to the proper personnel.
