Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. via West Elm seeks a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers to express themselves at home and to finalize sales at the cash wrap. You will promote ongoing engagement and keep customers connected with our brand.

You will provide design expertise in consultations, present design plans, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge to meet sales and service goals. A strong emphasis on clienteling and multi-channel coordination is required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and clienteling skills with excellent follow-up.
• Ability to coordinate complex orders across sales channels.
• Experience or interest in design preferred.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a retail environment.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive sales.
• Conduct in-home consultations including accurate measurement and space assessment.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions to achieve sales goals.
• Provide world-class service including gift services, orders, and delivery coordination.
• Demonstrate product knowledge across the design studio assortment.
