Job summary

La-Z-Boy is seeking an in-home design program leader to translate client needs into actionable design concepts and fortify sales teams with design expertise. You will conduct in-home consultations and present personalized portfolios to drive design-driven sales while upholding brand standards.

Training pay starts at $20/hour for 2-6 weeks, with average earnings of $60,000-$100,000+ annually after training. Base pay is $26,000 with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2-3 years in sales or interior design, with a residential emphasis.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, computer-aided design programs, financial understanding, adept interpersonal communication, analytical abilities, goal orientation, team management, and customer service.
• Other: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Promote the La-Z-Boy In-Home Design program and present customized design solutions to meet client needs.
• Coach and support store sales teams to improve design culture and product knowledge.
• Create design concepts and digital presentations with finishes and furniture selections.
