Altenheim Home Health Care in Ohio seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver home-based OT services under supervision. You will assess patient status, develop and modify treatment plans, teach activities of daily living, and educate families on body mechanics and device use.

Requirements: ACOTE-accredited OTA program, NBCOT certification, Ohio license, and minimum two years’ home health or community experience; valid driver’s license and CPR certification.

Competenze

• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OTA program (OT)
• Minimum two years' community/home health experience preferred.
• NBCOT certification and Ohio license as COTA.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and current CPR.

Mansioni

• Provides OT services to patients at home under supervision of an OT.
• Assists in evaluating functional status and developing treatment plans.
• Teaches activities of daily living and body mechanics.
• Documents progress and communicates with the OT and care team.
• Participates in patient and family education and inservice programs.
