Apploi in Ohio is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant who will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to support residents in long-term care settings. The role focuses on implementing the treatment plan, documenting progress, and coordinating therapy sessions with nursing staff to promote resident independence and well-being.

Candidates must hold a valid state license, meet licensure educational requirements, and have knowledge of Ohio long-term care regulations.

Qualificações

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted license in the state of employment.
• Must meet educational requirements of licensure.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and long-term care guidelines preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in the practice of occupational therapy under supervision.
• Implements the treatment plan as established by the occupational therapist.
• Records the resident’s progress and may request a reexamination when needed.
• Schedules and coordinates therapy sessions with facility nursing staff.
• Ensures equipment is stored, sanitized, and used safely in the facility.
• Participates in daily/weekly/monthly rehabilitative team meetings as designated.
