Job summary

OhioHealth at Home in partnership with Compassus is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapists in delivering patient-centered home health care. The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, with AI-supported documentation to reduce clerical workload and improve care time.

The position requires an accredited OTA degree, 2 years of COTA experience in acute care or rehab, and an active license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
• Use AI technology to ensure clear and accurate documentation of sessions.
• Reduce administrative workloads and focus more on hands-on care.
