Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation To You is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults. The role focuses on enabling independence through OT interventions in the patient’s home or independent living settings.

The OTA works under an Occupational Therapist, participates in patient care, and documents activities. A valid state license and driver's license are required, with a flexible schedule across various home environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and team meetings as a representative of occupational therapy.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules and documentation requirements.
• Works with rehabilitation team to develop and implement patient-centered programs.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in OT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Represents patient care with a compassionate, service-first approach.
• Implements individualized treatment plans created by the supervising OT.
