Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care to clients in the Williamston area. Work schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings and Tuesday, Thursday afternoons.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families and supervisors.
• Ability to read and follow care plans and written instructions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with transfers.
• Demonstrates empathy and compassionate patient care.
• Familiarity with home care settings and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and follow care plans under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities.
• Light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain accurate charts and reports of care provided.
• Record changes in client condition and report to supervisor.
• Utilize EVV app and time sheets as required.
