Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs support clients in their homes by assisting with daily care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

This role offers one-on-one care, flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time, day/evening, weekend, and overnight if applicable), mileage reimbursement where applicable, ongoing supervision, and opportunities for advancement within

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have active Maine CNA license.
• Must not appear on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, hygiene).
• Provide mobility assistance (transfers, ambulation, use of devices).
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations.
• Support daily care tasks (light housekeeping, laundry, linens, meal prep).
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence.
• Monitor for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to nursing staff.
• Identify and report safety risks or environmental concerns.
• Perform only tasks within CNA scope of practice and care plan.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
