Job summary

MaineTouch is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors in Maine. CNAs assist with daily care needs, promoting comfort, safety, and independence in clients' homes.

The role emphasizes one-on-one care, independence, and flexible scheduling with support from a responsive care team. Opportunities for advancement and ongoing clinical supervision are available.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license is required.
• 18 years or older; HS Diploma or GED.
• Must not appear on Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.
• Physically able to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance including transfers and ambulation.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations.
• Support daily care tasks such as light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence.
• Follow infection control and HIPAA practices and report concerns promptly.
