Job summary

MaineTouch is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care for adults and seniors in Maine. CNAs work one-on-one with clients in their homes, promoting comfort, safety, and independence with a responsive care team for scheduling and support.

The role offers full-time and part-time options with day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts where applicable, plus mileage reimbursement and ongoing clinical support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Active Maine CNA license (required).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance such as transfers and ambulation.
• Measure and document basic health observations and vital signs as directed.
• Support daily care tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, bed linen changes, and meal preparation.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence.
• Monitor changes in condition and report concerns promptly to supervising staff.
• Identify safety risks and environmental concerns and report them.
• Complete documentation accurately and on schedule.
