Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services in Maine. CNAs support adults and seniors in their homes, promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Maine (required).
• Must not appear on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Access to a working cell phone.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Providing mobility assistance and safe use of assistive devices.
• Measuring and documenting vital signs and health observations.
• Supporting daily care tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assisting with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offering companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence.
