Job summary

Hallway Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our in-home care team in Brentwood, CA. This full-time position offers 12-hour shifts with day and night options and requires at least 6 months of experience; EMR experience preferred.

You will assist clients with daily living, monitor vital signs, and maintain a safe, compassionate care environment. We offer competitive hourly pay of $21.00–$23.00 and benefits including medical, vision, and a 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home health care.
• Computer literate with EMR experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete documentation on Alayacare by the end of each shift.
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, cooking, feeding and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with patient assessments and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
• Transport patients to doctors appointments, grocery stores or pharmacies.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
