Job summary

Comfort Keepers in the Cokato/Howard Lake area is hiring an in-home CNA. The role supports clients to stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes, with responsibilities including ADL assistance, mobility support, medication help, dementia care, meal planning, light housekeeping, and companionship.

We offer part-time or full-time hours, wage starting at $18 per hour (or $20 for CNAs), with eligible employees offered free CNA classes after five months.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide hands-on personal care including dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping (bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, laundry, etc.).
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Interactive caregiving and mobility assistance.
• Assist with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Document care electronically.

Comfort Keepers is now hiring an in home CNA in the Cokato/Howard Lake area!

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.

About the Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Hands‑on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.
