Job summary

California Closets is seeking an in-home Design and Sales Consultant to design cabinetry, closets, home offices, garages, and media centers for residential spaces. You will measure spaces, design layouts, engage clients, and close sales to deliver premium storage solutions.

This role combines hands-on design with consultative selling, providing a superior client experience and earning commissions and performance bonuses. Training and leads are provided to support growth in a nationwide market.

Qualifications

• Interior design education or proven passion for home décor.
• Ability to manage and engage customers through an exceptional experience.
• Professional and assertive, consultative sales skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfortable with laptops/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Design organization units for customers using proprietary CAD software.
• Use consultative sales to meet monthly goals.
• Telecommute to clients’ homes for needs analyses and design implementations.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
• Follow up with customers and coordinate with installation team to complete jobs.
• Pursue referrals and repeat business.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position.
