Job summary
California Closets in Seattle is seeking a Design Consultant to deliver highly personalized, whole-home design solutions with exceptional service. You will listen to customers, collaborate on every detail, and guide measuring, designing, selling, and delivering custom storage solutions, while supporting the Design Brand experience.
The role includes a 12-week paid training program beginning in early January, with preference for in-home consultation experience.
Qualifications
- Interior design education or in-home sales experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and comfort with laptops/tablets.
- Experience with Salesforce, CAD, or design software preferred.
- Creative yet detail-oriented with a sense of craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Responsibilities
- Design custom storage solutions using our CAD software.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets through referrals and repeat business.
- Follow up with customers and coordinate with installation team for project completion.
- Participate in meetings and trainings.
- Manage a portfolio of projects and clients of varying complexity.
