Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a directly related human service field required.
• Three years’ experience in child welfare services preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage to meet travel requirements; may require transporting youth if needed.

Responsibilities

• Visit foster homes weekly to provide support to parents and youth placed in the home.
• Provide Medicaid billable services to youth with mental health diagnoses and support parental education.
• Prepare Individualized Care Plans collaboratively with foster parents, youth, and treatment team members.
• Attend court hearings for youth when applicable.
• Assist with school issues and IEP meetings.
