Job summary

SAFY of America, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a full-time Case Manager I to oversee a caseload of foster youth, delivering in-home, community-based services and coordinating with families and community partners to secure needed resources.

You will complete assessments, coordinate with county agencies, and maintain thorough documentation while collaborating with schools, courts, and other parties involved in the youth’s care. The role requires flexibility for nontraditional hours and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, child and family studies, or related human services field.
• LSW or LPC or License Eligible preferred.
• Two years of relevant experience with above listed degrees, child welfare preferred, or related work with children.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, community-based services to families and youth in caseload.
• Coordinate with county agencies and attend family sessions to promote interventions.
• Develop and ensure completion of assessments and treatment plans within required timeframes.
• Maintain confidential records and collaborate with SAFY staff, youth, and foster families.
