Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Kansas City Metro South is seeking an In Home Caregiver to join our expanding office team. Under the Administrator's supervision, you will perform personal care and homemaker tasks to meet clients’ needs according to care plans.

Responsibilities include observing and reporting changes, assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Background screening required.
• Baseline TB test on record with Seniors Helping Seniors Kansas City Metro South.
• Self-directed with ability to work with little supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, walking and transferring.
• Observe and report clients’ physical, mental and emotional conditions; document changes.
• Assist with homemaker tasks: meals, dishes, laundry, shopping, housekeeping, companionship, transportation.
• Report incidents or changes to supervisor; participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain safe environment and adhere to policies and standards.
