Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Kansas City Metro South seeks an In Home Caregiver to provide personal care and homemaker services to clients in the Kansas City area. Under supervision, you will observe clients, report health and condition changes, and document care performed.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship, while ensuring client safety and adherence to policies. Background screening and TB test are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Works well in a team and can work with little direct supervision.
• Demonstrates reliability, responsibility and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks as needed (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Provide homemaker services (meals, dishes, laundry, shopping, light housekeeping, companionship).
• Observe clients and report changes to supervisor; document care performed.
• Assist in ensuring a safe environment and adherence to policies.
• Maintain accurate work records and participate in improvement activities.
