Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors KC Metro South is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to join our expanding office team in the Kansas City area. You will work under the Administrator to perform personal care and homemaker tasks per the plan of care, observe clients, and report changes while documenting care performed.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, meals, and companionship, along with recording observations and ensuring a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or preferred.
• Must consent to background screening.
• TB test on record with Seniors Helping Seniors Kansas City Metro South.
• Complete a health history self-reported.
• Self-directed with ability to work with little supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility support, and medication reminders as per care plan.
• Observe client condition and report changes to supervisor, document observations.
• Perform homemaker tasks such as meals, dishes, laundry, shopping, and household chores.
• Offer companionship and transportation as needed.
• Maintain safe environment and comply with policies and procedures.
