Job summary

Home Instead is seeking experienced caregivers in the Cuba City area to provide one‑on‑one, hands‑on personal care in a home setting. The role requires a reliable weekly schedule between 8am and 9pm with part‑time hours and paid training.

You will work closely with families to ensure dignity, safety and comfort for the daily routine. Paid training, competitive pay ($16–$18/hr) and a $1.00/hr weekend differential are offered, with 24/7 office support available.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance, plus reliable transportation.
• Commitment to consistent weekly schedule across assigned hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide dementia cueing and calming support
• Hands‑on transfer and mobility assistance
• Prepare blended soft/pureed meals (dairy free)
• Monitor swallowing safety during meals
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Support established exercise or therapy plans
• Light housekeeping and laundry; maintain a clean home
• Collaborate with family and coordinate care
• Assist with heavier‑care needs as required
• Be comfortable in homes with cats and dogs
