Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors, including those with dementia or limited mobility. You’ll offer companionship, personal care, and support with daily activities in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.
• Ability to interpret the client’s plan of care.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Flexible and able to adapt to new situations.
• Must be reachable by phone or email for shifts/emergencies.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Prior experience with dementia or senior care is a plus.
• At least 1 year of paid caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation.
• Assisting with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom, feeding).
• Performing light housekeeping (laundry, linens).
• Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing.
• Planning and preparing meals.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Providing transportation to appointments.
• Helping family learn safe care techniques.
