Job summary

Right at Home Central Michigan is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide quality in-home care for individuals in need. We value growth, well-being, and success, offering training and flexible hours.

Full and part-time shifts available with competitive pay from $16 to $18 per hour and later raises after 30, 60, and 90 days. Earn your HHA certificate in 90 days and receive a raise.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience (private or facility-based).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift or transfer up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Support clients with mobility, reminders, meals, and light chores.
• Create a safe, positive environment that promotes independence.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADL's) like bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming.

• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.

• Support clients with mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

• Create a positive, safe, and nurturing environment that promotes independence and quality of life.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of caregiving experience (private or facility-based).

• Hospice experience, incontinence experienceand hoyer lift experience Prefered.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to lift or transfer up to 50 lbs.

• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
