Job summary

Right at Home in California is seeking qualified caregivers to provide in-home care services that help clients stay safe and independent at home and in their communities.

You will assist clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, reminders for medications, errands, light housekeeping, and social interaction, in a caring and compassionate role.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum professional caregiving experience.
• Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to pass LiveScan background check.
• Be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and daily tasks.
• Prepare meals and assist with medications reminders.
• Run local errands and provide transportation assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping and offer social engagement to improve quality of life.

What You Will Do:

As a caregiver with Right at Home, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a real difference in the lives of our clients. Your role will focus on helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life by supporting them with everyday tasks—such as: *activities of daily living (ADLs), *meal preparation, *medication reminders, *local errands and transportation, *light housekeeping, and *social engagement. Your compassion and dedication will help create a sense of comfort, connection, and joy for the individuals you care for.

What You Will Need:

• Candidates must be professional, flexible, and have a passion for helping others

• Able to pass LiveScan background check

• Be 18 years or older

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• 2 year minimum professional care giving experience

• Reliable transportation with proof of current vehicle registration and insurance

• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record OR valid California ID

• Basic English communication skills (verbal and written)
