Job summary

Right at Home Folsom Lake is hiring dependable caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in Citrus Heights, Orangevale, and surrounding communities. This mission-driven role offers competitive hourly pay and additional benefits.

As a Caregiver (HCA), you will provide companionship and personal care, assist with daily activities, prepare meals, offer transportation support, and help with medications while building meaningful one-on-one relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Comfortable providing personal care.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• At least 18 years old.
• Able to pass required background screening.
• Must obtain and maintain California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration before client assignment.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Current HCA registration or CNA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal care.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping.
• Provide dementia and Alzheimer's support.
• Assist with transportation, errands, and appointments.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.

Caregiver (HCA) Pay & Benefits

• $19–$25/hour based on experience, certifications, availability, shift type, and client assignment

• Existing HCA Preferred

• $250 bonus after completing 250 client-care hours

• $250 caregiver referral bonus when your referred caregiver completes 250 client-care hours

• $25 bonus for designated urgent/flex shifts

You'll have the support of a responsive local office while building meaningful one-on-one relationships with the clients you serve.
