Job summary

Altra Homecare Group in Valparaiso, Indiana, is hiring compassionate In-Home Caregivers, PCAs, HHAs and CNAs to provide personalized care in clients' homes.

You will assist with daily living tasks, medication reminders, safety monitoring, light meals, light housekeeping and companionship, while documenting care and reporting changes to your supervisor. Flexible schedules and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry and light meals as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client safety.
• Report significant changes in the client’s condition to supervisor and document care.
• Assist with ambulation and range of motion exercises.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Offer bathing assistance and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
