Job summary

Open Arms Solutions in Chicago is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to support seniors at home throughout Downtown Chicago and surrounding neighborhoods. You will help with daily activities and provide companionship to improve safety and comfort.

This role requires at least 1 year of professional caregiving in the past 2 years, a valid driver’s license or state ID, and reliable transportation. Location-specific travel is expected to reach clients' homes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration
• Provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and activities as needed
• Observe and report changes in clients' condition
• Complete basic care documentation
