Job summary
Hartford HealthCare is hiring Hourly Homemaker Caregivers to support elderly and disabled clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, delivering compassionate, client-centered care.
A valid driver’s license and car with insurance are required; one year of personal care experience is preferred; new grads with CNA are welcome.
Qualifications
- Driver's license and access to a car with auto insurance.
- Minimum one year of personal care experience in a facility or agency.
- Must be comfortable driving within 30 minutes of home for cases.
- New grads with CNA are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene and grooming care to clients.
- Assistance with toileting, ambulation, and daily living activities.
- Providing meals for clients' nutritional needs.
- Reporting changes in clients' condition to nurse or supervisor.
- Performing routine housekeeping and home management duties.
- Recording care in care plan and submitting timely updates.
- Providing emotional support to clients and families.
- Assisting with routine therapy exercises.
- Attending required in-service education sessions.
- Maintaining professional representation and high level of customer service.
