Exhava Home Care in San Diego, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide quality in-home support to seniors in the Mira Mesa area. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal prep, mobility support, and companionship, following each client's care plan with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of client boundaries.
• Physically capable of assisting with transfers or mobility needs.
• Comfortable providing personal care, including care for male clients.
• Empathetic, patient, and understanding.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray documentation.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist clients with memory-related challenges and changes in behavior
• Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and feeding when needed
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Assist with mobility and transfers when appropriate
• Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Document care activities and follow individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and members of the care team
