Job summary

Exhava Home Care in San Diego, CA is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to clients. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and follow care plans to ensure safety and comfort.

The role offers flexible AM/PM/NOC shifts, competitive pay, weekly pay, and ongoing training. Previous caregiving experience and California HCA registration are preferred, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Active California HCA registration.
• Current TB test or chest X-ray as required by regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance when required for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as appropriate.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities when required.
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
