Job summary

Exhava Home Care in Poway is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to support older adults in the comfort of their own homes. If you genuinely enjoy helping others, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining dignity, safety, and quality of life for clients.

You’ll assist with daily activities, companionship, meal preparation, errands, and mobility support, following individualized care plans while promoting independence and well-being at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is required.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray, as required by applicable regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
• Maintain a clean and safe home, light housekeeping and linen changes.
• Run errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when needed.
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes to the care team.
• Promote dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.

Exhava Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to support older adults in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes in the Poway area.

You will assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, errands, and other needs based on their individual care plans.

What You’ll Do

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction

• Assist with meal preparation, feeding when needed, and hydration

• Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and linen changes

• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when required

• Follow individualized care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team

• Promote client dignity, comfort, safety, and independence at all times
