Job summary

English Rose Home Care in the Twin Cities area seeks compassionate, dependable caregivers for one-on-one care in clients' homes. We offer 4, 6, 8, and 12 hour shifts with AM, PM and Overnight options, and pay $20-$24 per hour.

Our RN-led team provides clinical oversight and hands-on training, with ongoing support. We match caregivers to openings that fit their availability, across the Twin Cities metro including Edina.

Qualifications

• Previous one-on-one caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Experience supporting people with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, hospice, or other complex care needs is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and following detailed care instructions.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.
• Comfortable providing personal care to both female and male clients.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluent in English with strong written documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement.
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Helping with mobility and transfers.
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Providing transportation or assistance with errands.
• Following individualized care plans and documenting care accurately.
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition.

English Rose Home Care provides personalized, one-on-one care in clients' private residences for people living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other complex medical conditions. Our Home Care team is led by a Registered Nurse (RN), who provides clinical oversight and support to our caregivers.

We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who are comfortable working independently. Because we serve clients throughout the Twin Cities with different care needs and shift times, we can work with caregivers who have a variety of schedules, and we work to match you with opportunities that fit your availability.

We have home care clients throughout the Twin Cities metro area, including many in Edina. Contact us to ask about openings near you.

What You'll Do

Depending on the client's individualized care plan, your day may include:

Training & Support

Caregivers receive paid, in-person training with our experienced team, along with hands-on, client-specific training in the client's home. Our RN-led Home Care team provides ongoing oversight and support so caregivers have the information and guidance they need to provide confident, high-quality care.
