Job summary

English Rose is seeking compassionate caregivers to deliver one-on-one home care in the Twin Cities area, including Edina, MN. Positions include part-time and full-time with AM, PM, and overnight shifts. Paid training with RN-led oversight supports high-quality care.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, meal prep, mobility assistance, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Requirements: English fluency, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous one-on-one caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Experience supporting clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, hospice, or other complex care needs is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and following detailed care instructions.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and hold a valid driver's license.
• Fluent in English with strong written documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure safety.
• Light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean environment.
• Provide transportation or help with errands as needed.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition and document care accurately.
