Job summary

English Rose is hiring an in-home caregiver in Stillwater, MN for part-time to full-time roles. Shifts include 4, 6, 8, and 12 hours with AM, PM, and overnight options. Pay ranges from $23 to $25 per hour. Team leads with an RN provide clinical oversight and ongoing support.

Candidates should be comfortable with independent work and varying schedules, and have English fluency for documentation. Benefits and training are provided to support caregivers across the Twin Cities area.

Qualifications

• One-on-one caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, hospice, or other complex care needs is a plus.
• Able to work independently and follow detailed care instructions.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.
• Authorized to lift up to 50 lbs and have a valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English with solid written documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.

Our Home Care team is led by a Registered Nurse (RN), who provides clinical oversight and support to our caregivers.

We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who are comfortable working independently. Because we serve clients throughout the Twin Cities with different care needs and shift times, we can work with caregivers who have a variety of schedules, and we work to match you with opportunities that fit your availability.

We have home care clients throughout the Twin Cities metro area, including many in Edina. Contact us to ask about openings near you.

What You'll Do

Depending on the client's individualized care plan, your day may include:

• Providing companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Helping with mobility and transfers

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working independently and following detailed care instructions
• Strong communication and engagement skills
• Comfortable providing personal care to both female and male clients
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Fluent in English with strong written documentation skills

Training & Support

Caregivers receive paid, in-person training with our experienced team, along with hands-on, client-specific training in the client's home. Our RN-led Home Care team provides ongoing oversight and support so caregivers have the information and guidance they need to provide confident, high-quality care.
