Job summary

Golden Years In Home Senior Care seeks compassionate in-home caregivers (HCA certified) to support the safety, health, and engagement of clients in their own homes. You will tailor activities to individual interests, creating meaningful moments of care and connection.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and dementia care among others. Painstaking attention to client comfort and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Be fully vaccinated or have an approved exemption.
• Current TB skin test or clear X-ray result.
• Fingerprint clearance (Live Scan).
• CA Home Care Aid (HCA) Registry obtainable via Golden Years.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles for shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship.
• Assist with light housework and meal prep.
• Run errands and shop as needed.
• Support activities and engagement for clients.
• Assist with incontinence and dementia care.
• Assist transfers and activities of daily living (ADLs).
