Job summary

Golden Years In Home Senior Care is seeking compassionate caregivers with HCA certification to join our in-home care team serving clients across California. You will help with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support safety and wellbeing in clients’ homes.

As part of our dedicated team, you’ll tailor activity plans to each client’s interests, travel up to 25 miles for shifts when needed, and comply with vaccination, TB testing, live scan, and registry requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience.
• CA Home Care Aid Registry eligibility possible via Golden Years.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
• TB skin test or clear X-ray required.
• Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan) required.
• Must travel up to 25 miles for shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance and support with daily living activities.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Shopping and errands as needed.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with incontinence and dementia care as required.
• Transfers and ADLs as appropriate.
