Job summary

Golden Years In Home Senior Care is seeking compassionate caregivers who are HCA certified to join our home-based care team. You will build sincere connections with clients, provide essential personal care, and tailor activities to individual interests in the comfort of clients' homes.

Key requirements include 18+ years, 1 year caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, insurance, vaccination or exemption, TB test, Live Scan fingerprinting, and ability to travel up to 25 miles for shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
• Reliable transportation to service area.
• Be fully vaccinated or have a recognized exemption.
• Current TB skin test or clear X-ray.
• Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan) required.
• CA Home Care Aid (HCA) Registry – able to obtain through Golden Years.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles for shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Run errands and shopping as needed.
• Offer companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with incontinence care and dementia care as required.
• Support safe transfers and activities of daily living (ADL).
