RNS Private Duty Care is seeking CNAs and home health aides to join our team serving clients across the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line. You will work as a Care Professional, providing trusted in-home care with safety, dignity, and compassion, while earning competitive pay and support from a hands-on leadership team.

We offer flexible 6-12 hour shifts, weekend availability, and the chance to develop professionally with nurse case manager support and client-home safety reviews.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and compliance with RNS safety policies.
• Reliable, insured vehicle.
• Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities, plus daily access to RNS email.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Dependability, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow care plans, respect client routines, and work professionally with families.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualized care according to the client’s care plan
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities
• Provide companionship, engagement, and safety oversight
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention as directed
• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation as assigned
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or behavior
• Complete accurate, timely care documentation
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the RNS team
• Follow RNS policies, including confidentiality, standards of conduct, and dress code
• Maintain current CPR certification and TB screening, or complete within 90 days of hire
• Arrive on time for assigned shifts and follow RNS call-off procedures

Schedule & Availability

We are looking for caregivers who can work 6-12-hour shifts. Availability for at least three days per week is preferred, but applicants with more limited availability are encouraged to apply. Consistent availability and the ability to work every weekend are especially valuable.
