Job summary

RNS Private Duty Care in Overland Park, KS is seeking dependable caregivers who value safety, support, and fair compensation. You will work under a hands-on leadership team with a nurse case manager overseeing each client to ensure safety and compatibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required)
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record and compliance with RNS safety policy
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities
• Daily access to RNS email
• Fluent in English
• Able to perform all physical and mental requirements of the role

Responsibilities

• Provide care as agreed upon by the client, client’s family, and RNS case manager
• Assist with activities of daily living, including monitoring Alzheimer’s & dementia clients, taking vitals, patient transfers, fall prevention, bathing, home tasks, documentation, medication reminders, and pain management
• Provide safe transportation and run errands as needed
• Work comfortably in homes with pets when applicable
• Follow all RNS policies, including HIPAA, standards of conduct, and dress code
• Maintain current CPR certification (or complete within 90 days of hire)
• Maintain current TB test (or complete within 90 days of hire)
• Responsible for working all assigned shifts and ensuring coverage if unavailable
