Job summary

hce-careers in Fresno, CA is seeking compassionate home care aide to support clients with daily living activities in Sacramento and surrounding areas. You will assist with dressing, grooming, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and light housekeeping, while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualified applicants have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, ability to pass background check, and experience with dementia, hospice care, transfers, gait, or related care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must have a vehicle to transport clients.
• Must be able to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA registration (will be assisted at the offer of employment)
• TB skin test (cannot be older than 90 days)
• Experience or skills in dementia, hospice, incontinence, transfers (Hoyer), gait, slide board, or related care.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities of daily living, including dressing and grooming
• Assist with ambulation and transfers
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments
• Perform light housekeeping activities
• Provide medication reminders
• Care for bed-bound clients

Location & Shift

Travel to any of the following areas: Sacramento, West Sacramento, North Sacramento, South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis.

Shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday, AM/PM and overnight.
