Job summary

HCE-Careers in Fresno, CA is hiring care providers to assist senior clients at home. Responsibilities include daily living activities, mobility support, meal prep, errands, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship.

Requirements include being 18+, English proficiency, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, ability to pass a background check, and HCA registration assistance at offer. TB test within 90 days is expected.

Responsibilities

• Attending activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting).
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Preparing meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompanying patients to appointments and errands.
• Light housekeeping tasks.
• Reminding patients of medication schedules.
• Care for bed-bound clients.
• Use of gait belts, slide boards, and hoyer lifts.
• Providing companionship.

Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home.

We travel to any of the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis.

We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight).

Essential Responsibilities

• Attending personal care activities of daily living, including assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments.
• Performing light housekeeping activities.
• Reminding patients of medication schedules.
• Providing care for bed‑bound clients.
• Using lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards, and hoyer lifts.
• Providing companionship.
