Right At Home Fresno, CA is seeking dedicated caregivers to support seniors in their own homes. This role involves non-medical home care, including bathing, grooming, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and companionship.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid orientation and ongoing training, a positive work environment, and pathways to leadership within a supportive team. A valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance are required to serve clients across multiple Sacramento area locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must be able to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA Registration assistance available at offer.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities such as dressing and grooming.
• Ambulation and transfers.
• Prepares meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompanies client to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping activities.
• Provides medication reminders.
• Takes care of bed-bound clients.
• Uses lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards and Hoyers.
• Provides companionship.

A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provides non‑medical home care which includes bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client’s doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home.

We travel to any of the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis.

We are hiring care providers who may have skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers‑Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, a valid Driver’s License and vehicle insurance.

The shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight).
