Job summary

Right At Home Fresno, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care and companionship across the Fresno region. Shifts are available across AM/PM and overnight times to support clients’ daily living activities and medical appointments.

Candidates must be at least 18, fluent in English, possess a valid driver’s license with insurance, and pass a background check. TB test within 90 days and HCA registration assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA registration (assistance available at offer).
• TB skin test within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities of daily living, including dressing/grooming.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping activities.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Care for bed-bound clients.
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards, and Hoyer lifts.
• Provide companionship.

Working Locations

Travel to the following areas: Sacramento (West, North, South), Natomas, Woodland, and Davis.

Transportation Requirements

Must have your own vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.

Shift Schedule

Shifts are needed all days of the week, Monday to Sunday, in the AM/PM and overnight (NOC) slots.
