Job summary

Right At Home Fresno, CA is seeking care providers to help senior clients stay independent at home across Fresno area and nearby locales. Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, errands accompaniment, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. A valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and TB test compliance are required.

Training is provided before employment. Shifts cover all days (AM/PM/NOC). Applicants must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Attending personal care activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and transfers.
• Providing care and companionship to seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting).
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using aids (gait belts, slide boards, hoyer lifts).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.

Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home.

We travel to any of the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis.

We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight).

Essential Responsibilities

• Attending personal care activities of daily living, including assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments.
• Performing light housekeeping activities.
• Reminding patients of medication schedules.
• Providing care for bed‑bound clients.
• Using lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards, and hoyer lifts.
• Providing companionship.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment).
• TB skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days).
